ChM. Dr. Linthini Gannetion, PhD delivered an outstanding session on “Practical Desk-Based Techniques for Lawyers in Document Assessment” on 31 July 2026, bringing immense value to our members. The presentation comprehensively covered the critical skill of spotting document fraud before it reaches the courtroom by aligning initial file reviews with forensic science standards.
Attendees were equipped with practical guidance on detecting simulated signatures, page substitutions, and digital manipulation, while learning how to confidently preserve evidence and instruct forensic experts under pressure. We extend our sincere gratitude to Dr. Linthini for the engaging presentation, and to all the members and pupils who attended and actively participated. This successful programme was jointly organised by the Professional Standards Development Committee and the CLE, Young Lawyers and Pupils Committee.
