How to Become a Member
All Advocates and Solicitors of the High Court of Malaya practicing within Negeri Sembilan shall be deemed members of the Negeri Sembilan Bar. If a law firm has a branch in Negeri Sembilan, all partners of that firm, regardless of their primary location, must be members of the Negeri Sembilan Bar. For those intending to practice or open a branch office in Negeri Sembilan, you are required to give notice of your intention and pay your annual subscription to the Negeri Sembilan Bar Committee.
Please make payment for your annual subscription fees to the Negeri Sembilan Bar Committee and obtain your Sijil Caruman before you proceed with your Sijil Annual and Practising Certificate applications
Members must be in possession of a valid Practising Certificate to carry out legal practice.

Qualifications for Admission to the Bar in Malaysia
The Legal Profession Qualifying Board evaluates qualifications for legal practice in Malaysia. The Board also conducts exams and issues the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) for law graduates who do not qualify for direct admission.
