The Negeri Sembilan Bar is led by a committee elected during its annual general meeting held in February every year whereby a Chairman and ten (10) other members are elected together with a representative of the Negeri Sembilan Bar to the Bar Council. The Chairman is an ex-officio member of the Malaysian Bar Council. Being a State Bar, the Negeri Sembilan State Bar Committee has the following powers pursuant to section 73 of the Legal Profession Act 1976 :-
