Negeri Sembilan Bar Committee Pays Courtesy Visit to the Seremban Court

The Negeri Sembilan Bar Committee, led by Chairman Mr. Karthigesan Shanmugam, paid a courtesy visit to the Seremban Court on 30th May 2025. The meeting took place in the Main Meeting Room and was hosted by the Director of the Negeri Sembilan Court, YBrs. Tuan Darmafikri bin Abu Adam.
Also in attendance were members of the judiciary, including Sessions Court Judges, Magistrates, and court officers.
The purpose of the visit was to introduce the newly elected Negeri Sembilan Bar Committee 2025/2026 and to foster a better working between the Bar and the Bench for the betterment of administration of justice.
The discussion was constructive and covered several key matters of mutual concern, including remand procedures, the Yayasan Bantuan Guaman Kebangsaan (YBGK) programme, mediation in civil matters, parking issues within the Court Complex, improvements in case management, structured trial scheduling, and adequate time for submissions.
The Bar Committee also proposed collaborative initiatives such as joint sports activities and legal talks to further strengthen professional ties and engagement with the judiciary.
