On 30 October 2025, an enchanting Deepavali celebration was organised by the Negeri Sembilan Indian Lawyers at the Royal Chulan Seremban — a vibrant evening of light, laughter, and fellowship shared among members of the legal fraternity and their families.
The event brought together lawyers, friends, and loved ones in a spirit of unity and festivity, offering a chance to connect beyond the courtroom and celebrate the Festival of Lights together. The night featured inspiring speeches, lively performances, sumptuous food, and warm camaraderie — beautifully embodying the values of harmony, gratitude, and togetherness that Deepavali represents.
A special note of appreciation goes to Bar Council Treasurer Mr. Jayabalan, who travelled all the way from Johor to grace the occasion, as well as Johor Bar Committee Chairman Mr. Fadhil Ihsan and Bar Council Member Ms. Kokila for joining in the celebration and lending their support to the fraternity.

Adding colour and charm to the night, members from all races dressed to the nines, embracing the vibrant Kollywood and Bollywood Movie Night theme with stunning outfits and infectious energy — a joyful reflection of Malaysia’s unity in diversity.
The evening’s highlight included a delightful surprise performance by our Negeri Sembilan Bar Chairman, Mr. Karthigesan Shanmugam, who entertained guests with a beautiful song, much to the delight and applause of everyone present.
