The Negeri Sembilan Bar, through its Library and Bar Building Sub-Committee, successfully organised its second Library Training Session in collaboration with The Digital Library Sdn Bhd (eLaw) on 9 September 2025. The event was graced by the presence of NS Bar Chairman Mr. Karthigesan Shanmugam, along with committee members Ms. Khairulhamimi, Ms. Deidra, and Ms. Veni.
The training was conducted by Mr. Syed Abu Dahir, a trainer from eLaw, with the assistance of Mr. Nazhiif Zainal. It was well-attended by NS Bar members, pupils-in-chambers, and attachment students.
The primary objective of the training was to equip members and pupils with the skills necessary to effectively utilise the eLaw digital library platform for legal research, thereby supporting their legal practice.
Feedback received from participants was overwhelmingly positive. Many noted that they became more aware of the features available on the eLaw website, and appreciated the practical tips and search techniques shared by the trainer, which significantly enhanced their research efficiency.
The Sub-Committee extends its gratitude to all participants and look forward to organising more knowledge-sharing sessions in the future.
