Having just recovered from a busy and fruitful Hari Bantuan Guaman last weekend, the Legal Aid Centre – National Legal Aid Foundation (LAC-YBGK) Negeri Sembilan once again showed up in full force on 18 July 2025 with its first Legal Awareness Day. The talk was held at SMK Dato Sedia Raja, Rembau wherein two distinguished senior criminal practitioners, Mr. Karthigesan a/l Shanmugam (current Chairman of the Negeri Sembilan Bar) and Mr. Azmi bin Abdoll Aziz (former Chairman, 2019–2023) delivered an impactful two-hour talk on criminal laws affecting youths – including issues of drug abuse, sexual offences, scams, and bullying.
This initiative aims to educate students and deter them from engaging in actions that could jeopardise their future and reputation.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the headmaster, Tn Hj Ismail bin Samah, school counsellor Pn. Norazieda, and all dedicated teachers of SMK Dato Sedia Raja for their warm welcome and collaboration.
